Recently National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) enabled linking of RuPay credit card to a UPI ID. With this arrangement, you can avail all the benefits of using a credit card, keep your bank balance intact and still use BHIM UPI for your daily transactions.
Let us learn how to link RuPay credit card in BHIM UPI.
- Open BHIM payment app
- Enter passcode
- Click on bank account
- Click ‘add account’
- Select ‘credit card’
- Select credit card issuer bank
- Select your credit card
- Click ‘confirm’
- Click to view all accounts
- Select ‘credit card’ from the available options
- Set UPI PIN
- You will get a notification ‘UPI PIN set successfully’.
- Your credit card is now ready to be used for UPI payments.
How to make payment with RuPay credit card on BHIM UPI?
- Scan the merchant QR code
- Enter the amount to pay and select credit card account
- Click ‘confirm’
- Enter the UPI PIN and click ‘submit’
- You can see the transaction status in ‘Transaction History’.
What not to do while making UPI payments via RuPay credit card?
- Never share your UPI PIN with anyone.
- The UPI PIN and card PIN should not be same.
- Do not breach the credit card limit assigned by the bank.
